Dubai Chocolate Brownie Recipe!

Hello lovelies,

Dubai chocolate… the social media sensation. Possibly the most viral and loved product of 2025 so far. Honestly, I don’t think it’s going to be beaten, everyone and their pet ferret have gone wild for this.

And you guys know me well enough by now to know that I was never going to let this craze pass me by without adding my two pence in and creating a recipe of my own inspired by the Dubai chocolate.

I’ve been absolutely bombarded on all social media platforms with millions of different recipes inspired by the Dubai chocolate but the one I knew I instantly wanted to recreate and put my own spin on was the Dubai chocolate brownies.

{For anyone who hasn’t heard of the Dubai chocolate, here’s a lil info: the Dubai chocolate is a chocolate bar with a filling made from kadayif and pistachio. It was first created by Fix Dessert Chocolatier in Dubai, branded as Can’t Get Knafeh of It. The product was popularized in 2024 after being promoted by influencers on social media, especially TikTok } – copied from google.

Therefore, I’m going slightly rouge and dismembering the Dubai chocolate and creating my version by making a thick, fudgey chocolate brownie base which is then topped with a layer of the kadayif and pistachio filling and finished off with a thin layer of chocolate with pistachio cream featured through.

If that doesn’t have you drooling, I honestly don’t know what will.

So, if you’d like to know how I made today’s recipe to recreate yourself, you know the drill. Keep on scrolling below and you’ll find today’s recipe.

Category: Desert / Sweet Treat

Servings: 12 Brownies

Prep Time: 30 Minutes Overall

Bake Time: 25-30 Minutes

Chill Time: 6 Hours Overall

Decorating Time: 10 Minutes

Overall Time: 6+ Hours

Ingredients You Need For The Brownie:

  • 200g Of 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate
  • 200g Of Unsalted Butter
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 275g Of Caster Sugar
  • 100g Of Plain Flour
  • 50g Of Cocoa Powder
  • 300g Of Milk Chocolate Chips

Ingredients You Need For The Pistachio Filling:

  • 150g Of Roasted Kadayif Pastry
  • 250g Of Pistachio Spread

Ingredients You Need For The Topping:

  • 300g Of Milk Chocolate
  • 25g Of Unsalted Butter
  • 50g Of Pistachio Spread

How To Make The Brownie Base:

  • Firstly, gather together your equipment and ingredients, line a 9” loose bottomed, square baking tin with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 180C / 160C Fan / Gas Mark 5.
  • Secondly, in a microwavable bowl, add both the 200g of dark chocolate and 200g of unsalted butter. Place the bowl into the microwave and in 20 second blasts, blast the butter/chocolate until fully melted.
  • When both the ingredients have melted, remove from the microwave and place to one side to cool to room temperature.
  • Now, in a large bowl, using an electric whisk, whisk together the 3 large eggs with the 275g of caster sugar for around 8 minutes, until the colour has turned pale, is a mousse like texture and the volume has doubled in size (TIP: you will know it’s done when you lift the whisk up out from the mixture and it should leave a trail for a couple of seconds before disappearing).
  • Once whisked, pour the cooled melted chocolate/butter mixture over the eggs and very carefully fold together (TIP: being careful and patient is crucial at this stage because you don’t want to knock the air out of the mixture).
  • When combined, sift in the 100g of plain flour and 50g of cocoa powder and carefully fold into the mixture.
  • Carefully fold in the 300g of milk chocolate chips.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the pre-lined baking tin and spread out evenly.
  • Place the brownie into the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes, until there’s a slight wobble in the centre of the brownie and the outer edges are set.
  • Once baked, remove the brownies from the oven and allow to cool fully in the tin before transferring into the fridge to chill for 4+ hours (this will give the brownie that fudgy texture).

How To Make The Pistachio Filling:

  • Now that the brownie has chilled, it’s time to make the filling.
  • In a microwavable bowl, add the 250g of pistachio spread, place into the microwave and in 10 second blasts, blast the spread until loosened.
  • Next, in a large mixing bowl, add the 150g of roasted kadayif pastry and the 250g of loosened pistachio spread and mix together until completely combined.
  • Pour the pistachio filling over the top of the brownies and using a rubber spatula, spread the filling evenly and press down into the brownies.
  • Place back into the fridge for 1 hour to chill.

How To Make The Topping:

  • When the pistachio filling is cold, it’s time to make the topping.
  • Melt the 50g of pistachio spread and transfer straight into a piping bag.
  • Then, melt the 300g of milk chocolate and 25g of unsalted butter until smooth.
  • Pour straight over the top of the chilled kadayif and pistachio filling. Smooth out until the filling is completely covered.
  • Cut the tip of the piping bag off and pipe lines of melted pistachio spread over the top of the chocolate. Using a knife or skewer, feather the chocolate and pistachio spread together.
  • Place back into the fridge to chill until set.
  • Finally, once everything has set, carefully remove the brownies from the tin and cut into 12 squares.

That’s your Dubai Chocolate Brownies prepared, baked, topped and decorated, ready for you to enjoy!
