Category: Sweet Treat

Servings: 9 Big Squares

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Chill Time: 4 Hours

Overall Time: 4Hrs 10Minutes

Ingredients You Need:

  • 300g Of Custard Cream Biscuits
  • 100g Of Butter, Melted
  • 397g (1 Tin) Of Condensed Milk
  • 300g Of White Chocolate

How To Make:

  • Firstly, gather together your equipment and ingredients and line an 8×8” loose-bottomed, square baking tin with parchment paper.
  • Secondly, add 300g of custard cream biscuits to a food processor and blitz until you have a fine crumb (you could also use a ziplock bag and a rolling pin and do it by hand).
  • Next, add the custard cream crumbs, 100g of melted butter and 80ml of condensed milk into a large mixing bowl and mix together until you have a wet dough.
  • Press the dough down into the pre-lined baking tin.
  • Now, add the 300g of white chocolate and remaining condensed milk into a heat proof bowl and over a bain marie, at a low heat, melt the chocolate. At this point the mixture should be looking thick and glossy.
  • Working quickly, once melted, remove from the heat and add the melted chocolate mixture ontop of the biscuit base.
  • Using a rubber spatula, press the mixture down firmly into place.
  • It’s at this stage you can top with 9 custard cream biscuits if desired.
  • Place the traybake into the fridge and allow to cool to chill for 4 hours, until the topping is firm to touch.
  • Finally, once firm, carefully remove from the baking tin and cut into 9 squares and serve.

That’s your No-Bake Custard Cream Traybake prepared and chilled, ready for you to enjoy!
