Hello lovelies,
Another day, another no-bake recipe and there’s no doubt in my mind that you guys are going to love this one I’m sharing with you today.
Now, I know Maryland Cookies are primarily a UK biscuit brand but they do get exported across the world so I think i can say with chest that we as a entire nation are in agreement that it doesn’t get much better than a Maryland Cookie.
Brands can try and bring out their own version and I certainly won’t take away the fact that some of them are absolutely blooming delicious, however, Maryland Cookies are the OG’s and are the cookies I always go back too.
Therefore, I knew early on in making my list of ‘no-bake’ recipes that I wanted to do a recipe that hero’s the Maryland Cookie. Let’s just say, it didn’t disappoint. If anything, it surpassed my expectations and has now taken top rank in my no-bake recipes so far.
4 ingredients is all it takes to create this heavenly bar! It’s quick to make, it has easy steps to follow and I can guarantee you’ll be falling head over heels in love at first bite.
So, if your a Maryland cookie lover and fancy making a no-bake recipe this weekend, you know the drill. Keep on scrolling below and you’ll find today’s recipe.

Category: Sweet Treat
Servings: 16 Bars
Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Chill Time: A Minimum Of 4 Hours
Overall Time: 4Hours 20Minutes
Ingredients You Need For The Base:
- 350g Of Maryland Cookies
- 100g Of Unsalted Butter, Melted
- 397g (1 Tin) Of Condensed Milk
Ingredients You Need The Topping:
- 300g Of Milk Chocolate
- 40g Of Unsalted Butter
- 100g Of Maryland Cookies, Broken Into Small Pieces
How To Make These Maryland Bars:
- Firstly, gather together your equipment and ingredients and line a 9” loose-bottomed square baking tin with parchment paper.
- Secondly, in a food processor (or a ziplock bag with a rolling pin), crush up the 350g of maryland cookies into crumbs.
- Transfer the cookie crumbs into a mixing bowl. Add 100g of melted unsalted butter and 397g of condensed milk and mix until combined.
- Now, press the biscuit mixture into the prepared baking tin and set to one side.
- In a small microwavable bowl, add the 300g of milk chocolate and 40g of unsalted butter. Place into the microwave and in 20 second blasts, blast until completely melted together (stir to combined the chocolate and butter).
- Pour the chocolate butter mixture on top of the biscuit mixture base, using a spoon to spread it out evenly. Give the tin a gentle shake to disburse any air bubbles.
- Sprinkle over the 100g of broken cookie pieces until the chocolate is completely covered.
- Place the bars into the fridge and allow to chill for a minimum of 4 hours, until the chocolate is solid.
- Finally, once chilled, take out the fridge, very carefully remove from the tin, using a sharp knife cut into 16 bars and serve.
That’s your No-Bake Maryland Cookie Bars prepared, chilled and cut into squares, ready for you to enjoy!
Notes:
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days or in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days.
- You can totally adapt this recipe by changing the ingredients to cater to your preferred taste, for example: change the milk chocolate for dark or white or change the maryland cookies for a different biscuit – the choices are endless.
