Kinder Roll Crepes Recipe!

Hello lovelies,

The last few years I’ve certainly found myself gravitating towards making american pancakes around pancake day but there are times when I want to go back to my roots and a crepe is the perfect way to do just that.

Ever since I was a little girl, every single year on pancake day without fail, my mum would make a batch of the most delicious crepes that would be throughly enjoyed by myself and my family! She’s defiantly the OG crepe queen.

Therefore, I wanted to take a trip down memory lane this year and create a simple yet utterly delicious crepe recipe that you can enjoy with your family!

I’ve been seeing these kinder roll crepes doing the rounds all over my social media recently and if you know me, you’ll know I’m a massive kinder fan, so as you can imagine, I needed to bake a batch for myself asap.

Let’s just say… they didn’t disappoint!

So, if you’d like to make these kinder roll crepes yourself, you know the drill. Keep on scrolling below and you’ll find today’s recipe.

Category: Breakfast / Sweet Treat

Servings: 8-10 Crepes

Prep Time: 15 Minutes

Bake Time: 1 Minute Each Side

Overall Time: 30 Minutes

Ingredients You Need:

  • 125g Of Plain Flour
  • 1tbsp Of Caster Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 300ml Of Milk
  • 8-10 Kinder Chocolate Bars

How To Make:

  • Firstly, gather together your equipment and ingredients.
  • Secondly, in a large bowl, whisk together the 125g of plain flour and 1tbsp of caster sugar.
  • Next, make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and add the 2 large eggs and gradually whisk in the 300ml of milk until everything is combined, smooth and batter is runny.
  • Pour 1/3 cup of batter into a well oiled small frying pan over a medium heat and coat the edges of the pan with the batter.
  • Once the batter is no longer wet on-top, flip the crepe over to cook the other side. Each side should take between 45 seconds to 1 minute to cook.
  • When cooked, remove the crepe from the hot pan, place onto a plate and fold in half.
  • Put a mini kinder chocolate bar at one end of the crepe and roll it up nice and tight.
  • Keep the rolled up crepes warm whilst you repeat the steps above until the batter has been completely used up.
  • Finally, once all the crepes have been rolled up, top with a drizzle of Nutella or milk chocolate and serve.

That’s your Kinder Roll Crepes prepared, baked and rolled, ready for you to enjoy!

Notes:

  • I would personally recommend eating the crepes on the day of making for the freshest taste. However, you can store the crepes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours.
  • If you’re not eating the crepes on the day of making, I’d recommend heating up in the microwave for 10 seconds, this will make the kinder chocolate in centre all gooey.
  • If you want to freeze the crepes, freeze each crepe between small sheets of parchment paper so they don’t stick. When wanting to use, thaw at room temperature before filling with the kinder chocolate and enjoying.

Like my other two pancake recipes I’ve shared this year, I just loved the simplicity of these crepes I’m sharing with you today. Quick, easy and are guaranteed to have you hooked.
