Hello lovelies,
I don’t know about you, but I love myself a chocolate bar that contains biscuits in.
Theres something about the way that the chocolate and biscuit work together to create the most satisfying texture and taste.
One of my all time favourite chocolate bars has to be Twix. The chocolate, biscuit and caramel combination is just heavenly to me.
Therefore, when I saw that the incredibly talented Eloise Head (known online as FitWaffle) had shared a No-Bake Twix Bar, you best believe I squealed with excitement as I knew without even making my way through the whole video that these would unbelievably yummy and that I had to add it to my ‘No-Bake Bars’ series, asap!
I expect you’re sick to death of me making the statement I’m about to make but these are hands down my favourite No-Bake Bar to date.
Not only is this a super quick recipe to throw together, there’s no baking involved, anyone of any skill set can make this with ease following my simple step-by-step instructions and most importantly, to achieve the most indulgent, decadent taste, it uses just 6… YES 6! ingredients only.
What’s not to love about these bars?
So, if these twix bars have caught your attention and got you wanting to create a batch to share with loved ones or to enjoy yourself throughout the week (there’s certainly no judgement here), you know the drill. Keep on scrolling below and you’ll find today’s recipe.

Category: No-Bake, Sweet Treat
Servings: 9 Large Bars Or 16 Smaller Bars
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Chill Time: Minimum Of 4 Hours
Overall Time: 4.5 Hours
Ingredients You Need For The Base:
- 400g Of Digestive Biscuits
- 100g Of Unsalted Butter
- 1 Tin (397g Of Carnation Caramel)
- 200g Of Twix Bars, Chopped Small
Ingredients You Need For The Topping:
- 300g Of Milk Chocolate
- 100g Of Salted Caramel
- 150g Of Twix Bars, Chopped Small
How To Make The Base:
- Firstly, gather together your equipment and ingredients and line a 9” loose-bottomed, square baking tin with parchment paper.
- Secondly, in a food processor (or a ziplock bag with a rolling pin), crush up the 400g of digestive biscuits into crumbs.
- Transfer the biscuit crumbs into a mixing bowl. Add the 100g of melted unsalted butter and 397g of carnation caramel and mix together until fully combined.
- Fold through the 200g of chopped Twix bars until evenly distributed through the base mixture.
- Now, press the biscuit mixture evenly into the base of prepared baking tin, then set to one side.
How To Make The Topping:
- In a small microwavable bowl, add the 300g of milk chocolate and 2tsp of vegetable oil. Place into the microwave and in 20 second blasts, blast until completely melted.
- Pour 300g of the melted milk chocolate on top of the biscuit mixture base, using a spoon to spread it out to all four corners and sides evenly. Give the tin a gentle shake to disburse any air bubbles.
- Place the 100g of salted caramel into a piping bag, snip the very tip of the bag off and pipe lines from one side of the tin to the other. Using a knife, drag the knife through the caramel lines to create a feathered effect.
- Scatter the 150g of chopped Twix bars across the top of the chocolate and caramel.
- Place into the fridge and allow to chill for a minimum of 4 hours, until the chocolate has hardened.
- Once chilled, take out the fridge and very carefully remove from the tin.
- Finally, cut into 9 large bars or 16 smaller bars, then serve.
That’s your No-Bake Twix Bars prepared, chilled and cut, ready for you to enjoy!
Notes:
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days or in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days.
- I add 2tsp of vegetable oil into my chocolate so that once the bars have finished chilling in the fridge, the oil will allow the chocolate to cut easily without it cracking or breaking.
- You can totally adapt this recipe by changing the ingredients to cater to your preferred taste, for example: change the milk chocolate for dark or white chocolate or change the digestive biscuits for a different biscuit – the options are endless.
- I brought my salted caramel sauce from Aldi’s but any salted caramel will work.

It’s never ceases to amaze me how so little ingredients can make such big, powerful flavours but they do and that’s why these no-bake bars have me in a chokehold.
I told you the chocolate, caramel and biscuit combination is a favourite of mine and as a huge twix lover, I can honestly say these no-bake twix bars give everything they needed to give to have me wanting to create batch after batch.
Let me know in the comments below if you make these bars yourself and if you do, what your thoughts are on them. Are you a twix lover? Did you enjoy the addition of twix into my no-bake bar series?
Sending you all tons of love & hugs as always,
Elle xo
