Hello lovelies,
Every year in my house, no matter how old I’m getting we have a tradition that pumpkin carving is a must. We as a family have been pumpkin carving ever since I was a little girl and it’s something that I feel can’t ever be broken as it just wouldn’t be right.
There’s nothing better than getting down and dirty, and by dirty I mean getting covered in pumpkin guts and pips… it’s just a time filled with laughter, competitiveness and everyone helping to create a pumpkin to beat the neighbours next door. If I’m being completely honest, I’m not amazing at carving into pumpkins especially by social media standards but I give it my best shot. Each year I try to set a goal to make each carveture that little bit better and hopefully this year I’ll forfill that goal.
Last year I brought a book called “Pumpkin Carving Kit” which contained 12 incredibly talented sencils which ranged from easy to that “seriously out my comfort zone hard”. But this year I decided not to go for the book and to go off my own imagination (let’s pray for the pumpkins) and see what creation I come up with.
Anyway, before the suspence gets too you as you want to see what I created so much, here’s mine & dad’s awful looking creations;
I really hope you enjoyed today’s blogpost and you liked my pumpkin carvings which I spent way too long on hahahaha!
I’m very much looking forward to seeing social media bombarded with pumpkin photos as it’s my favourite thing to look through, some people’s creations never fail to amaze me. I love being inspired by them and getting ideas for future pumpkins. Your all so incredible, I get blown away by the talent.
I hope you all have a spookilisous halloween, eat lots of yummy treats and enjoy yourselves!
Sending tons of love and hugs as always,
Elle xo
