Nutella Blondies Recipe!

Hello lovelies,

If you’ve been around here a while, you’ll probably notice that I haven’t posted many blondie recipes. That’s not because I don’t like them but because I’ve been trying to perfect my recipe so that I’m only sharing the best of the best with you guys.

It took me a hot minute to do so but I’ve finally made my favourite blondies to date and me being me… couldn’t gate keep, so I’m here sharing them with you today!

Not only do these blondies have gooey centre, chewy outer edge and are melt-in-the-mouth delicious but they’re filled to the brim with the chocolatey goodness that is nutella and just ooze perfection (if I do say so myself).

I was inspired by a few different nutella blondie recipes I’d seen online that have a stuffed nutella biscuit centre. You’ll have noticed I’ve found a huge love for stuffing my brownies and blondies at the moment and this blondie today certainly didn’t disappoint.

My loved ones adored these and I can guarantee yours will too. It’s nutella afterall, who doesn’t love nutella?

So if you’d like to make these blondies yourself, you know the drill by now. Keep on scrolling below and you’ll find todays recipe.

Category: Sweet Treat

Servings: 9-12 Slices

Prep Time: 20 Minutes

Bake Time: 35-40 Minutes

Chill Time: 1 Hour

Overall Time: 2 Hours

Ingredients You Need For The Blondies:

  • 170g Of Unsalted Butter
  • 200g Of Light Brown Sugar
  • 80g Of Caster Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2tsp Of Vanilla Bean Paste / Extract
  • 250g Of Plain Flour
  • 200g Of Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 3tbsp Of Nutella
  • 18 Nutella Biscuits

How To Make The Blondies:

  • Firstly, gather together your equipment and ingredients, line a 8×8” loose-bottomed, square baking tin with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 180C / 160C Fan / Gas Mark 4.
  • Secondly, in a large bowl, whisk together the 170g of unsalted butter with the 200g of light brown sugar and 80g of caster sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Next, one at a time, whisk in the 2 large eggs and the 2tsp of vanilla extract until combined.
  • Mix in the sieved 280g of plain flour gently, do not over mix.
  • Now, fold in the 200g of milk chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the blondie batter.
  • Add half the blondie batter into the base of the pre-lined baking tin and using a metal spoon, smooth out the batter until evenly spread.
  • Place 9 nutella biscuits over the top of the blondie batter.
  • Then, place the remaining blondie mixture ontop of the biscuits and using a metal spoon again, very carefully smooth out the blondie batter.
  • Dollop the 3tbsp of nutella over the top of the blondie batter and using a skewer or knife, swirl the nutella ontop of the blondie batter. Then, place 9 more nutella biscuits ontop.
  • Place into the oven and allow to bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Once baked, allow the blondie to cool completely in the baking tin then transfer into the fridge to chill for 1 hour.
  • Finally, when chilled, carefully remove from the baking tin and cut into 9-12 squares.

That’s your Nutella Blondies prepared, baked, chilled and cut, ready for you to enjoy!
