Hello lovelies,
Now if you’ve been here a while, you’ll have seen that I posted my first ever ‘stuffed brownie’ recipe a few weeks back and in that post, I mentioned that I’ve become completely and utterly obsessed with watching people stuff their brownies with all different ingredients and wanted to start doing it myself.
In that recipe, I stuffed my brownie with both nutella and kinder chocolate bars and boy, did it slap!
Since that day, I’ve been nonstop thinking about what other ingredients I could stuff my brownies with. Now, the ideas have come in thick and fast, I’ve got a list as long as an orangutans arm but the one that I physically couldn’t get out my head and had to share with you next is my ‘snickers stuffed brownies’.
This brownie idea first came about when I was having a scroll through the Asda website one night looking at their new in items for my bakes when I stumbled onto their ‘chocolate spreads’ page and when I saw they done a snickers spread, I immediately knew that it would be the perfect spread to stuff into a brownie… and I certainly wasn’t wrong.
I feel like my frontal lobe has finally developed as snickers wasn’t a chocolate I enjoyed up until my middle 20’s but now, it’s up there with a favourite of mine. I knew that using both snickers spread and snickers bars in these brownies would be heavenly and again, I wasn’t wrong!
Rich, fudgy, sweet and salty – these brownies give you the ultimate snickers experience with every little bite you take. What more could you want?
So, if these stuffed brownies have you edger to know more, you know the drill. Keep on scrolling below and you’ll find today’s recipe.

Category: Desert, Sweet Treat
Servings: 10-16 Pieces
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Bake Time: 30-40 Minutes
Chill Time: Minimum Of 4 Hours Or Overnight
Overall Time: 5+ Hours
Ingredients You Need For The Snickers Brownie:
- 300g Of Snickers Spread, Frozen
- 200g Of 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate
- 200g Of Unsalted Butter
- 275g Of Caster Sugar
- 3 Large Eggs
- 100g Of Plain Flour
- 50g Of Cocoa Powder
- 6 Snickers Bars, Chopped & Frozen
- 150g Of Salted Peanuts
How To Make The Snickers Brownie:
- Firstly, gather together your equipment and ingredients, line two 9” loose-bottomed baking tins with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 180C / 160C Fan / Gas Mark 4.
- Secondly, the night before, spread 300g of snickers spread evenly across the base of one of the lined baking tins and place into the freezer.
- The next day, in a microwavable bowl, add both the 200g of dark chocolate and 200g of unsalted butter, place the bowl into the microwave and in 20 second blasts, blast the butter/chocolate until fully melted.
- When both the ingredients have melted, remove from the microwave and place to one side to cool to room temperature.
- Now, in a large bowl, using an electric whisk, whisk together the 3 large eggs with the 275g of caster sugar for around 8 minutes, until the colour has turned pale, the mixture is mousse like and the volume has doubled in size (TIP: you will know it’s done when you lift the whisk up out from the mixture and it should leave a trail for a couple of seconds, before disappearing).
- Once whisked, pour the melted and cooled chocolate/butter mixture over the eggs and very carefully fold together (TIP: being careful and patient is crucial at this stage because you don’t want to knock the air out of the mixture).
- When combined, sift in the 100g of plain flour and 50g of cocoa powder and carefully fold into the mixture.
- Mix through the frozen chopped snickers bar pieces and 150g of salted peanuts until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour half the brownie batter into the base of the prepared tin and smooth out to all four corners.
- Remove the frozen snickers spread from the freezer, carefully remove the snickers spread slab from the baking tin and place on top of the brownie batter.
- Pour the remaining half of the brownie batter on top of the frozen snickers spread and carefully smooth out.
- Place the brownie into the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, until the edges of the brownie are firm but there’s still a slight wobble in the centre of the brownie.
- Once baked, remove the brownies from the oven and allow to cool right down to room temperature before transferring into the fridge to chill for a minimum of 4 hours or ideally, overnight.
- Finally, after 4 hours, remove the brownies from the fridge, carefully remove from the baking tin and with a sharp knife, cut into 10 large slices or 16 smaller pieces, then serve.
That’s your Snickers Stuffed Brownies frozen, prepared, baked and chilled, ready for you to enjoy!
Notes:
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days or in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
- For the best results, I would personally recommend chilling in the fridge overnight. This will give you a firm but perfectly fudgy brownie.
- If you like the brownie to be gooey, I would recommend heating in the microwave for a minutes or so.
- Don’t want to freeze the snickers spread overnight? That’s fine, you can also dollop the snickers spread straight from the jar onto the brownie batter and smooth it out evenly across the top.
- I brought the Snickers spread from Asda: https://www.asda.com/groceries/product/chocolate-sweet-spreads/snickers-chocolate-spread-350g/9263983
- Freezing the chopped snickers bars before adding them to brownies prevents the chocolate from completely melting into the batter.

These are guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser!
I’ve taken my everyday brownie batter (which alone is super yummy) and taken it up to the next level by overloading them with everything snickers and quite frankly I’m obsessed with the outcome and I can guarantee you will be also.
Let me know in the comments below if you make these stuffed brownies yourself and if you do, what your thoughts are on them. Are you a snickers lover? Did you love the addition to these brownies?
