Way Back Wednesday

Hey lovelies,

last month my little cousin was born into this world, whilst receiving tons of gorgeous photos of him just hours after birth, it made my dad want to get the old photo albums out and take a look at baby me and life before my illnesses took over. I thought it would be interesting for you to look at me years ago too and be able to have a good old laugh at me and the clothes I’m wearing.

 Here’s my first photo with my perfect little cousin, Lewis. Couldn’t be prouder!

It’s such a shame that these days everything is done by digital cameras or phones which can be uploaded to your laptop and that’s where they’ll stay. don’t get me wrong I love taking photos that way but back when I was born everything was film and the only way to look at them properly was by printing the films out. for that reason I’m very grateful I was born in a generation that will have these photos in hand to treasure forever. there is defiantly something a lot more special about a photograph when you can hold it in your hand and being able to recover it years later!

Here are some oldies of me to take a cheeky look at;

Ill admit, I do have a love / hate relationship with old photos. sometimes I absolutely love to look for hours at oldies of me hearing stories and letting the memories flood back into my brain but sometimes I find it incredibly hard to look back and remember that once upon a time I was a healthy girl just living life as best she could. It’s difficult and it’s something I’ll never be able to explain but I’ll admit, there is something about getting the old photo albums out and looking through them that makes me so happy.

I really enjoyed putting this blog post together for you all and I hope you enjoyed your entertainment of the throw back photos I found. Some are so embarrassing but at the same time it’s put a massive smile on my face. Let me know if you’d like to see me do a series of Way Back Wednesday’s for you all!

I hope your all well.

Tons of love as always,

Elle xo
