Tropical Sorbet | Ninja Creami Recipes!

Welcome to recipe one of my ‘Ninja Creami Recipes’ series I’m starting here on my blog!

This series is dedicated to showing you how you can create all different types of frozen goods with just one incredible machine… the Ninja Creami.

Over the last couple of years, sorbet has quickly become a firm favourite frozen treat of mine and to be able to create my own, from the comfort of my own home, brought me so much joy!

So, it only feels right to kick start my series with a sorbet and this one in particular, has captured my heart! It’s fresh, it’s juicy, it’s fruity and it creates the most incredible concoction of flavours which make those taste buds dance.

Admittedly, this tropical sorbet is very summer themed but let’s be honest, there’s no rules to creating and although this will be heavenly on a warm summers day, it’s also perfect to demolish during these winter days/nights too.

You guys know me well enough by now to know that I’d never gate keep from you and quite frankly, this sorbet is TOO good not to share.

So my lovelies, here I am, kick starting my new series with something scrumptious! You know the drill by now, keep on scrolling and you’ll find the recipe below:

Servings: Makes 2 Tubs

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Freeze Time: 24 Hours

Machine Time: 2-4 Minutes

Overall Time: 24+ Hours


Ingredients You Need To Make This Tropical Sorbet:

  • 1x Can Of Mango Slices
  • 1x Can Of Peach Slices
  • Punnet/Bag Of Fresh Or Frozen Strawberries
  • Punnet/Bag Of Fresh Or Frozen Raspberries

How To Make The Tropical Sorbet:

  • Firstly, gather together your equipment and ingredients.
  • Secondly, drain the syrup of both the mango and peach slices into a cup.
  • Now, divide the can of mango slices and the can of peach slices between two of the ninja creami tubs.
  • Next, mix together the strawberries and raspberries and then divide them between the two tubs on top of the mango and peach slices.
  • Level out the fruit so that it is under the maximum fill line and the fruit is as flat as possible.
  • Divide and pour the left over syrup between the two tubs.
  • Place the lid on top of both the tubs and place the tubs into the freezer on a level shelf or draw for 24 hours.
  • Once the 24 hours is up, remove the tubs from the freezer.
  • Click the tub into the ninja creami machine, turn the machine on and press the sorbet setting.
  • When the cycle has finished, remove the tub and inspect it. If the sorbet is crumbly, add a dash of water or juice into each tub and click back into the machine and press the ‘re-spin’ option.
  • Continue to do this until your sorbet is the perfect consistency.
  • Finally, once the sorbet is perfect, remove from the machine and serve immediately.

That’s your Tropical Sorbet prepared, frozen and mixed, ready for you to enjoy!


Notes:

  • If you’ve got leftovers from the sorbet, smooth out the top with a teaspoon and place back into the freezer. Once ready to eat again, click back into the machine and press the ‘sorbet’ option. This will make it the perfect consistency again.

Silky smooth, proper juicy, really fresh and full of flavour, honestly, what more could you possibly ask for from a sorbet?
